Usually ERP transactions are printed and if they
are pertaining to customer or vendor the same is sent out. Traditionally this
is sent by post, by currier or by fax. In addition to printing
on paper
you
can make a .PDF file and send the same by attaching to email.

For example:
Purchase Order, Sales Order, Dispatch Order, Sales
Invoice, Transfer Invoice, Proforma Invoice, Dispatch note, Account statement,
etc. can be printed as .PDF file and send by email.

What is
PDF?
PDF or Adobe Portable Document Format: Invented by
Adobe Systems, PDF lets you capture and view documents created by most ERP, and
share it with your vendor or customer or colleagues, via email. Word or Excel
file, if sent by email can be changed. The .PDF file cannot be changed by the
recipient of the email. Moreover, to view Excel file the recipient should have
Excel software on his / her PC. To read a .PDF file Adobe Acrobat reader is
required, which is a free download. In short, say NO to photocopying and
say NO to FAX, which are multiplying papers.
Note: Adobe
is a third party software. Visit
