Serial number tracking of lens sold

ISSUES & CHALLENGES:

Ø  The challenge was to identify each lens with a unique serial number. 

Ø  The invoice should not simply say ten lenses sold but print ten unique serial number and store in database for future reference.

Ø  DNS was deployed starting with the sales module.  The lenses and surgical instruments are sold directly eye hospitals, eye surgeons and also through distributors. 

Ø  There is office in Mumbai to take care of business in that location.  ERP also captures expiry date and gives MIS to the top management.

Special features of DNS ERP, such as ‘Expiry date’ and ‘unique serial number tracking’ for each lenses helps managing the business.
