ERP vendor will impart necessary training to ‘coordinator’ on various aspects of ERP.  Especially on the MIS and data structures.  This is to reduce dependability on vendor and gain confidence in the ERP system even after implementation is over.

In turn the coordinator will train other users.  This will ensure a smooth handover of programs from vendor team to you

3.      Appoint chief of ERP project

           The CEO or the owner or the top finance man is appointed to overview the ERP project.

He has necessary authority

He will have to spend time in the review meetings – between coordinator and ERP implementers team - during the full CRP run till the roll out stage

4.    First ERP demonstration

Users from accounts, purchase, sales, stores, export, import, HRD, production planning, costing, budget, administration, and all other concerned officers who is going to contribute the input data or are users of ‘ERP’ outputs must be present

5.    Password

User access rights

Modify – delete

Define security levels

6.    Infrastructure

Assess hardware requirement details to get the optimum performance for ERP package.  For instance, upgrading RAM, etc.

Prepare Masters

Enter one month data

Ensure all possible scenarios

Opening balances from signed audited balance sheet

Carry out essential customization
