Official New Year invitation email from the Director:  "All members of staff - please note that due to recession, there will only be one drink per person at the new year's Annual Party.   And please bring your own cup!

And what happened at the annual party !!! (Scroll down) .

 The specifications were missing in the memo (size of cup).  Moral of the story:

Be very specific in your daily life, including ERP project work.   Give specific specifications, during the SRS meetings (system requirement specification).  User will prepare wish-list with unrealistic expectations.  Top management will have learn to draw a line and put stop to customization.
