The user-friendly environment of the database, allows even a lay-man to easily access the different methods of treatment. The database contains the currently available drugs in practice along with their structure, active site and their mode of actions.
Details about traditional herbal medicines, which have proven to be useful and have been known by the local population since a long time, have been included in the herbs database. If information from both the databases is coupled and implemented under guidance, the treatment may be more effective as well as reduce costs.
